Here we have EGR blanking plates to fit Land Rover Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport vehicles fitted with the 2.7 TD V6 Turbo Diesel engine.

The kit is designed to replace the EGR (exhaust gas recycling) valves which  are troublesome on this vehicle by blanking the valves off.

The benefits are a big cost saving on replacing the valves which often fail  again, a slight performance gain off idle and a cleaner burn because the exhaust gas is not getting back to the intake manifold.

The kit is only suitable vehicles with VIN (vehicle identity numbers) up to 7A. If fitted to later models the engine management light will stay illuminated.

Installation is straight forward requiring only Torx bits as a special tool and takes about 1.5 hours the first time.

Here we have the complete deluxe version of our floor repair kit, suitable for repairing the floor of a Discovery.

The kit contains all the parts you will need to carry out the repair – 3 x ‘Z’ sections, 3 x ‘X’ sections, a plate to cover the fuel tank inspection hole and the floor.

It really is a simple replacement to make, simply lay the new floor over the old one and mark out 10mm outside the edge and cut the old floor down the sides and behind the rear seats.  The edge of the rear door is detached by drilling out the spot welds.

Put the ‘Z’ sections down the sides and along the edge by the back seat, check the gaps and adjust as necessary.  This can be bolted, riveted or welded into place.

The kit also contains the 3 x ‘X’ section to replace the original flat metal strip under the rear floor.  They are stronger because of their shape and constructed out of 2mm steel which makes them much more durable.  The overall size of them is 1050 x 43mm

Care needs to be taken with the fuel lines and when attaching the mountings for the brake pipes and the ABS Sensors.

Here we have a replacement side body mount for Land Rover Discovery and Classic range rovers.
These are designed to replace the existing mounts which are attached to the inner sill and support the body shell at the front and rear down the sides.

Ideally the inner sill is removed and these are then attached to the new metal before welding on.
The side plate can be shortened to make fitting easier at the back. The front edge is intentionally longer to restore strength.

Here we have a Land Rover Freelander TD4 EGR (Exhaust Gas Recycling) removal kit with replacement pipe and blanking plate.

This is an easy home installation requiring a 10mm spanner and a flat blade screw driver.

The purpose of the kit is to prevent exhaust gas being recycled into the intake manifold. The effect of which is to sludge up the intake, reduce power and reduce economy, with no adverse effect on MOT emissions.
