We are currently in the process of refurbishing the RNLI fleet of Land Rover 110’s Each vehicle is stripped right down, the chassis are replaced with galvanised versions. The axle cases are hot zinc sprayed and powder coated and all other components checked for serviceability. Several improvements/enhancements have been included eg: moving the TD5 engine ECU from under the seat to a position in the roof headlining. EGR valves have been replaced with our custom made version and our bespoke galvanised winch bumpers and galvanised wheel rims are the finishing touches.
